PRICE: $17,000
WHERE TO BUY: Baby Wit

If you think rich people like to waste their money, then I promise that the following won’t dispel that belief. After all, what could be a bigger waste of money than giving your baby a diamond-studded anything?

The world’s most expensive pacifier features a silicone nipple sporting over 278 pave cut diamonds totaling 3 carats. The pacifier is also made with 14k white gold and has a moveable handle.

While the Diamond Pacifier isn’t recommended for actual use, I still expect to read about some celebrity rugrat choking on a handful of diamonds.

The most expensive pacifier in the world can be purchased for $17,000 and can even be customized with colored diamonds, the baby’s name, birthdate and other vital information.

Donald Trump may talk a good talk, but did you know he also talks the most expensive talk? The real estate mogul, television personality and world’s 314th richest person gave seventeen speeches at The Learning Annex’s real estate wealth expos in 2006 and 2007. These seventeen speeches were the most expensive in the world, earning The Donald $1.5 million each. He was no stranger to The Learning Annex at that point, as he’d made a round of the world’s most expensive speeches at their 2005 expos. At the time he only earned $1 million.

Former president Ronald Reagan was no stranger to million dollar speeches either. He was paid $2 million by media company Fujisankei Communications for two speeches and a handful of press interviews during a tour of Japan. Considering the fact that this happened in 1989, we may consider these the most expensive speeches ever made. After all, adjusting for inflation reveals that he was paid over $1.7 million per speech in today’s currency.

World’s Most Expensive Aquarium Fish

PRICE: $400,000+ (estimated)

Having a fish might be a cheaper alternative if you’re referring to a Beta or Feeder but when it comes to one that’s a rare breed and suffers from an extremely rare condition, it makes it the most expensive fish in the world.

The fish is a platinum arowana and it is 15 inches long. It lives in Singapore, where it is owned by Aro Dynasty, a dragon fish breeder. It’s rare condition causes it’s right eye to pull downward which apparently is not rare for the arowana breed.

However, the pure white color of this particular fish is rare, even amongst its own kind, and is considered a mutation. The fish was displayed and gained international attention at the Aquarama show in 2007. Shortly after the show, Aro Dynasty received an offer of $80,000 for the fish and after declining, they received another offer of about $400,000 USD. Turning that offer down as well, Aro Dynasty still maintains that the fish is not for sale. Regardless of a buyer, this rare fish is still considered to be the most expensive fish in the world.
